She's giving stuff away...

UPDATE:
It is now 5:30  I have some quilting done, but not much - I forgot I had scheduled a manicure and pedicure for 2:00...argggg..will I never get to just sew...I guess I'll be Party ing into the night...but I do enjoy a good mani and pedi...

I have to get my vacuuming done so that I can sew...

But my project is just waiting for me..My niece wants an elephant wall hanging for her new home - I of course volunteered to help her out - she hasn't seen it (shhhh) sure hope she likes it.  Would love to finish it today and get it the mail so she can enjoy it - OR - hide it in a closet HAHA...
I got the pattern for the elephant at AJ Quilts  go over and see her site - she is so talented!

it's all pinned and ready to quilt - so I don't have lots left to do

Well let me get back to my vacuuming so I can get started..I'll post more as the day goes on...

  13. I love your elephant, especially the baby tucked in so nicely! I love your mani and pedi, too! The pedi wouldn't do me much good with my wool socks and winter shoes though--can't wait for Spring to hit the nail salon! I will be back visiting more often!

  16. Hi Brenda,
Thanks for coming by. I love the story of your ever changing bench/coffee table. I've been looking through your blog and have seen so many fun posts. The elephant quilt is amazing. I love your parents walk way and those beaded pictures are crazy gorgeous. Does she sew them on or do a glue technique? So pretty. And so much work!

  18. Thanks for stopping by. Welcome to blogland. I love your parent's walkway. The quilt you are doing is cute. I worked on a quilt many many years ago in a quilting group at church. That was so much fun. Sore fingers, but fun. My vacuuming slacks off too working on this blog. First things first.

  21. Good Morning Brenda sweetie...
Oh I am so thrilled to have you visit Country Wings in Phoenix, and sign up to be a follower. I love visitors and so adore sharing. Thank you for stopping by and I too, am your newest follower.

I love this awesome elephant quilt wall hanger. How absolutely beautiful it is. You are very gifted with your hands to be a seamstress/quilter. Moma does the quilting in our family, and this year when I go home she promises to teach me. I so want to learn. The color pallette that you have chosen Brend is so DDG, I adore it, and so will your neice. I have a feeling a lot more relatives are going to be knocking on your door too. Be prepared.

Thank you for sharing today. I have so enjoyed my visit. I look forward to many more to come. Have a beautiful Sunday sweetie. Country hugs...Sherry
